Action emergency entrance

We have been participating in the emergency entry campaign since the end of January 2010. With the sticker on the entrance door, we make it clear that people who are threatened or need help for other reasons can of course turn to us.

In Herne, the campaign is coordinated by the child advocate Bibi Buntstrumpf and the children's and youth parliament. .

Thanks to the standardized and simply designed emergency entrance sign, children can quickly see where they can get help in threatening situations.

As a preventive measure, even before a dangerous situation arises, the children can be made aware of the signs by their parents, for example, and memorize them in this way.

In addition, shops and institutions that hang the sign conspicuously at their entrances and shop windows show that they are committed to moral courage and not to violence in our city

Teachers from our school have taken part in a special training course on how to react correctly in emergency situations. Afterwards, the information was not only passed on to the entire staff, but the students were also informed about the emergency entrance campaign. On the one hand, the children and young people got to know the emergency entrance as a possible contact point, but on the other hand they also discussed how we as a school or even they themselves can provide help in certain situations.
